Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00 // 37.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage:

$30.18 as per collective agreement

Requirements/Education/Experience:



Completed two years of post-secondary training in areas such as payroll, business administration, or accounting Minimum two years related experience working in a payroll function or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Experience with all aspects of benefits administration Completed or working towards completion of Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar processing software, and union payroll is an asset Demonstrated computer skills with MS Office, accurate typing skills with intermediate level Excel and Word. Strong organizational skills and strong attention to details Ability to work under pressure and ability to maintain strict confidentiality Good interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond/communicate with public and staff in a positive, professional and courteous manner. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, set priorities, and work to meet tight deadlines with a high volume and fast-paced payroll Criminal Record Clearance Medical Clearance Demonstrated competency in English Eligible to work in Canada This position requires union membership.
