This position is responsible to provide intake assessment and service for all program eligibility/ ineligibility for the At Home Caregiver Benefit Program within Social Programs. As part of the Social Programs integrated client centered service delivery model, this position provides information, problem solving support and advocacy through phone advice & face to face to individuals and families experiencing difficulties related to financial and personal functioning. The programs to which the Social Program Intake Screener may be responsible to deliver are - Social Assistance; Child Care Subsidy; Seniors Independence Initiative and AccessAbility Supports. The Social Program Intake Screener will work collaboratively with colleagues, community and applicants and facilitate referrals across all programs and external agencies.
