Rate: $24.00-25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Summary:
The 1:1 Support Supervisor oversees Variety Village's summer camps 1:1 support program ensuring campers who require individualized assistance receive safe, inclusive, and high-quality support. This role involves coordinating 1:1 staff, supporting camper needs, maintaining records, and serving as the main point of contact for families. The 1:1 Support Supervisor works closely with camp leadership to support staff training, program delivery, and the overall success of the 1:1 support program. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with experience supporting individuals with disabilities, are essential for success in this role.#
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the Camp Leadership Team with the development and delivery of staff orientation and training.
Conduct intake assessments for 1:1 campers to determine individual needs and support levels.
Manage registration, invoicing, and all administrative duties related to 1:1 campers.
Ensure the completion, proper filing, and retention of Participant Information Profiles and online registrations.
Compile and maintain comprehensive 1:1 camper binders, including Camper Profiles, Parent Questionnaires, historical records, the "Do's and Don'ts" Log, Behavioral Tracking Sheets, Progress Reports, and weekly camp schedules.
Serve as the primary contact for parents and guardians of 1:1 campers, addressing questions and providing updates.
Assist families with completing funding applications for 1:1 camper support.
Act as the on-call resource for 1:1 staff needing assistance with campers.
Pair staff with campers, schedule and track staff hours, and input weekly hours into the When I Work app.
Record camper attendance and follow up with parents regarding absences.
Ensure the Multi-Sensory room is clean, organized, and used appropriately.
Other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Key Competencies:Valid certification in CPR-C, First Aid, and AED (minimum requirement).
Supervisory experience in camps and/or recreational settings. Previous experience as a head camp instructor or equivalent leadership role is required.
Experience in integrated programming.
Strong knowledge of Variety Village camps and operations, including but not limited to staffing rotations, pool fouling procedures, and camp scheduling.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
Strong organizational skills.
Positive and proactive approach to work.
Participating in company training that includes CPI and Plan to Protect.
