This is a temporary assignment effective October 10, 2025 to June 30, 2026
This assignment involves teaching Grade 6 Math, Science, Physical Health Education and Explorations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Education (Elementary or Middle School);
valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch.

understanding of middle school philosophy and adolescent development;
demonstrated successful teaching experience at the middle school level;
familiarity with the renewed curriculum;
committed to engaging students in meaningful learning experiences and activities;
demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods (e.g. differentiated instruction, assessment for, of and as learning, backwards by design curriculum planning);
interest and experience related to the current needs of our Exploration program as noted above.
