Requirements:

Basic qualifications to teach in the Intermediate and Senior Divisions - Business Honours degree and/or subject qualification(s) in the specified or related subject areas would be considered an asset Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in Mathematics and Business Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom and D2L Brightspace, as well as additional G-Suite digital tools, EDSBY and CVO courses on the VLE to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents Demonstrated knowledge of how students learn effectively with a repertoire of proven instructional and assessment practices Commitment to supporting the use of technology in instruction and learning, and to promoting an environment of innovation and creativity that engages the 21st century learner Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration around the school's Student Achievement Plan through school-based PLC's, department meetings, co-planning and co-teaching Knowledge, experience and proven ability in utilizing differentiated instructional approaches within the classroom that support effective instruction Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic education and integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations within the curriculum Flexibility to be assigned in other subject areas as the need arises Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies Willingness to actively assume extra-curricular duties Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school community
