The Landscape Services department of the Resort Experience division has an opportunity for interested individuals to apply for the position of Student Labourer I - Turf. Reporting to the Landscape Services Supervisor, this position offers full time hours of 76.5 per pay period starting as soon as school is out (May for Post-Secondary school and June for High School) though to August 31, 2025. The schedule for this position will be 6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The Student Labourer I's role is to maintain the grass in the parks and village of Whistler. Qualified candidates have some previous outdoor work experience and demonstrate an interest in the turf maintenance field. Candidates must have the ability to safely and efficiently use landscaping related equipment and tools and follow work safe practices and must be physically able to perform moderate to heavy outdoor work in all weather conditions. A valid class 5 BC driver's license is considered an asset.

The starting wage for this position is $28.96 an hour.
As a requirement of this student position, the successful applicant must be currently enrolled on a full-time basis in a recognized Post-Secondary or High School educational institution and be confirmed as returning on a full-time basis in fall 2025.
