Job Description
:
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to run a zoom boom on a shutdown in August.
This role is expected to start right away until October 2022. The shutdown shift is 6 days on & 1 day off. Our client site is in Carseland, AB.
What would you be doing?
Moving Material from the fabrication shop out into the field.- Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
- Safe and efficient operation of telehandlers and/or forklift.
- Identifying safety risks and hazards on site.
- Communicate/review hand signals with a spotter.
- Perform General Laborer duties on occasion.

Have a great attitude and a good safety record.- Able to handle and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
- Can troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and find solutions.
- Can work independently and follow directions.
- Have valid tickets: CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and Zoom Boom Tickets.
Perks of the job
The hourly rate is $37.56/hr- Merit Benefits after +300 hours.
- LOA is $140.00/day for non-local workers
Other important details
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
