The successful candidate will have the following:Post-secondary diploma/degree in recreation, outdoor pursuits, physical literacy, or equivalent is considered an assetMinimum of 1-2 years working in a supervisory capacity within an organization providing services for children and youthKnowledge and experience facilitating and planning strength-based recreation and youth engagement programming, that includes sport and physical activityCustomer service experience and/or experience working in a health-focused industry or recreational facilityDemonstrate skills in youth behaviour managementExperience working in an effective team to collaboratively achieve desired outcomesDemonstrates skills in community engagementExperience in staff/volunteer supervision and developmentEmbrace innovation and be willing to take initiativeSkilled at working independently and within a team environmentExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-taskComputer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and OutlookCurrent Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificated within the last 12 months from an approved AB OHS provider.
