Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soccer, with the ability to teach and inspire players of all skill levels. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment. The Soccer Coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring the overall success of the soccer program.

Duties



Design and implement training sessions that enhance players' technical skills and tactical understanding of the game. Supervise practices and games, providing constructive feedback to players to improve their performance. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork. Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, coordinating transportation for games, and overseeing equipment needs. Conduct player evaluations and maintain records of player progress through data collection. Collaborate with other coaches and staff in marketing initiatives to promote the soccer program within the community. Recruit new players through outreach efforts and community engagement activities. Engage in public speaking opportunities at events or meetings to represent the soccer program effectively.

Qualifications



Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory. Proven experience in supervising teams or coaching sports, preferably soccer. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and stakeholders. Experience in project management to oversee training programs and events efficiently. Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote the soccer program successfully. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on developing young athletes both on and off the field. Familiarity with data collection methods for tracking player development and performance metrics. Administrative experience to handle scheduling, budgeting, and communication tasks effectively. Previous experience in recruiting players is a plus. Teaching experience or coaching certification is highly desirable. Pay: $17.20-$35.29 per hour
