Mississauga United FC (www.mississaugaunited.ca) is currently seeking experienced soccer coaches to join their team. The positions includes positions running indoor recreational soccer training programs and competitive rep. team coaches running competitive teams in the winter season. Requirements:

1.

Mississauga United's Curriculum:

Ability to learn and follow the club curriculum and implement it effectively in the soccer training programs.

2.

Demonstration of Skills:

Capable of leading and demonstrating the required soccer skills to young players.

3.

FIFA Rules Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of all FIFA rules and ability to referee games when necessary.

4.

Effective Communication:

Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young soccer players.

5.

Positive and Encouraging:

Always maintain a positive and encouraging attitude towards players and their development.

6.

Punctuality and commitment to the schedule

. Each coach's schedule is fixed and each coach needs to commit to the schedule and make sure to arrive at each session on time.

Qualifications:

1.

Youth Coaching Experience:

Prior experience in coaching youth soccer is preferred for this role, but not required.

2.

Coaching Certificates:

Completion of Fundamentals or Learn to Train certificates is preferred, but not required for recreational program. However, application to coach competitive rep. teams must have coaching certificates

3.

Curriculum Proficiency:

Able to conduct training drills and sessions in accordance with the provided curriculum.

4.

Soccer Knowledge:

A background as an experienced soccer player with a comprehensive understanding of all soccer rules.

5.

Passion for Soccer:

Exhibit a strong passion for soccer and the ability to effectively convey that passion to players.
