Summary

Prairie Harm Reduction is looking to add a second Supervisor to our Youth Services Team. Working in a residential home setting, the Youth Services Supervisors assist the Director of Youth Services to create a supportive home for the youth in our care. Michael's Place and Esther's Home are harm reduction-based homes for youth ages 16 - 21 who are permanent wards of the Ministry of Social Services. The homes are designed to specifically support youth who use substances and have complex needs related to behaviour and mental health.

Supervisor Duties:

Each supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of one of the youth homes to ensure smooth service delivery. Tasks include but are not limited to;

Scheduling Case Management for up to 5 youth Track youth spending and uphold set budgets Home vehicle upkeep - cleanliness, gas topped up and maintenance Ensuring daily tasks are completed by in-house staff Provide direct support to youth who access services when required Report any incidents immediately to the Director of Youth Services Provide coaching and support to in-house staff

Leadership:

Work with the management team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals for the organization and Youth Services Department Work with the management team to assist with Human Resources for the department including but not limited to hiring, orientation, and discipline Work with the Director of Youth Services to ensure staff are in compliance with agency standards Ensure programs and services are aligned with strategic direction to advance the mission & vision of the organization Lead and deliver outstanding customer service to staff, community partners, donors, visitors and volunteers ensuring all are treated with respect and dignity

Other Duties:

On-call weekend rotation Overnight on-call when needed Represent the organization at community meetings, fundraising events and functions as required Participate in Prairie Harm Reduction events and other community events as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
