Responsibilities:
- Engage and interact with youth in a positive and supportive manner
- Provide a home like environment for youth in the care of CFS
- Provide guidance and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all youth
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Promote positive behavior and social skills development
- Collaborate with other youth workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment
- Communicate effectively with management team regarding the progress and needs of the young people Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth in a professional, caring capacity
- Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices
- Ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for youth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with youth on an individual level
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of different youth and situations
- CPR and First Aid certification (needed) You MUST have a valid driver\'s license and vehicle Note:_ This is a 24 hour independent contractor\'s position paying a flat rate for each shift. rooms are provided for the care giver to sleep on site. 12 shifts a month is considered full time. $225 for 4 training shifts, $250.00 for 36 shifts, or 3 months (Which ever comes first) and $300.00 following _ Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.09-$20.00 per hour Benefits:
