About the Role:
As a Yoga Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting our patients' recovery and resilience through personalized and group therapeutic yoga. You will work closely with clinicians and other allied health professionals to deliver trauma-informed, functional movement and breath-based therapies, with a special emphasis on
women's health
.
While a primary focus will be on women's health,
you must be comfortable leading individual and group sessions across all demographics
, including mixed-gender and male-focused classes.
The successful applicant will be required to attend the clinic at both our Vancouver and Surrey locations as patient demands require (depending on place of residence, parking / travel allowance negotiable).
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group yoga therapy sessions tailored to individual needs
Collaborate with physicians and allied professionals to co-develop integrative care plans
Lead therapeutic yoga for diverse patient groups, including chronic pain, rehabilitation, and stress management
Contribute to program development in women's health, including prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor-focused offerings
Support clinic mindfulness initiatives (meditation, breathwork, stress-reduction programs)
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively within the care team
What We're Looking For:
Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT or equivalent training preferred)
Experience working in healthcare or allied health settings is an asset
Strong knowledge of anatomy, therapeutic movement, and trauma-informed care
Experience or interest in women's health
Team-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a grounded, evidence-informed, clinical setting
Mindfulness, meditation, or breathwork experience is a strong asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
