We are looking for experienced yoga teachers to add to the Stasis team!

OUR FOCUS

We are a non-heated studio with an emphasis on the recovery of both body and mind. Our structure allows the students to flow through their practice while gaining knowledge on how to safely work through any injury or limitation. We also have a big focus on gaining a greater range of motion and increasing flexibility in order to help with injury prevention. Our intimate studio space puts a focus on community and getting to know each other in a welcoming and supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Yoga teacher certification of 200+ hours required

- Multiple class styles: Hatha, Gentle Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Flow

JOB TYPE

- Consistent weekly yoga classes

- Covering classes when other teachers are sick or away

- Starting rate $30/class

EXPECTATIONS OF YOUR ROLE

- Organized and able to arrive on time for classes

- Respond to calls, texts or emails in a reasonable amount of time in order to cover a yoga class

- Maintain a comfortable, welcoming environment for the students

- Assisting students with signing in for class

- Providing reliable instruction by making sure the classes start and end on time

- Able to meet the needs of the students in class with an understanding of how to properly help students who are injured or ill with modifications and variations

- Comfortable in using hands on adjustments with students

- Cleaning tasks before & after classes (simply dry mopping the studio to remove hair and dust)

- Proactively seek feedback (positive and constructive) from owners, fellow instructors and students in order to consistently improve as a yoga teacher

- Clothing attire: Dress appropriately and with modesty. There are to be no wardrobe malfunctions and the clothes should not be distracting to students.

- Absolutely NO synthetic smells due to allergies and asthma
