Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga practices and philosophies, with the ability to educate and inspire students of all levels. As a Yoga Instructor, you will create a welcoming environment that promotes physical health, mental well-being, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging and informative yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and supported. Educate students on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to enhance their yoga experience. Communicate effectively with students to understand their individual needs and goals, providing personalized guidance when necessary. Demonstrate strong leadership skills by fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages growth and exploration in yoga practice. Manage class schedules efficiently, ensuring timely start and end times while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from students promptly and courteously. Continuously develop your own skills through ongoing education and training in yoga methodologies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on creating an inclusive environment for all participants. Excellent time management skills to effectively balance teaching responsibilities with personal practice and development. A commitment to customer service excellence, ensuring all students feel valued and respected during their time in class.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
