Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in prenatal and pediatric yoga practices, with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels & ages. As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding classes, educating participants on techniques, and fostering a sense of community within the studio.

We are looking to offer the following classes: homeschooling, after school, parent & tot, prenatal, and adult with childminding provided.

Duties

Lead engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and supported. Educate students on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and the benefits of yoga practices. Communicate effectively with students to understand their needs and provide personalized guidance. Demonstrate strong time management skills by preparing class plans in advance and adhering to scheduled class times. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after classes. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of yoga practices.

Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate students during classes. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all participants. Ability to effectively educate students on yoga principles while ensuring safety during practice. Exceptional communication skills to convey instructions clearly and effectively. Time management skills to balance class preparation with teaching responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 5 per week
