Centretown Performance Studio is seeking a

passionate, professional Yoga Instructor

to join our wellness team as an

independent contractor

. The ideal candidate creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for students of all levels while delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging yoga classes that support physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being.

Compensation & Schedule

Up to $50 per class

, based on attendance

Maximum 10 participants per class

Current class times:

8:00 PM & 9:00 PM

Opportunity to add morning classes

as demand grows

Responsibilities

Lead engaging group (and occasional private) yoga classes for varying skill levels Demonstrate proper techniques, offering clear cues, regressions, and progressions Ensure participant safety by monitoring form and preventing injury Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages mindfulness and consistency Communicate effectively with clients, providing feedback and answering questions Maintain class schedules and prepare adaptable lesson plans Promote class attendance through strong client engagement and professionalism Collaborate with the wellness team on workshops or special events as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor or similar teaching role Certification from a recognized yoga training program preferred Fluent in

English

(French bilingualism is a strong asset) Strong leadership and group facilitation skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently Ability to coach inclusive classes accommodating different abilities and experience levels

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 14 per week
