Martensville Bldg & Home Supply Ltd is a locally owned and operated business. We provide quality service and building materials to both contractors and homeowners. We are currently looking for a Yard Supervisor. This position is a full-time perminent and commense immidetialy. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and customer orientated. A knowledge of construction would be an asset but not required. Duties will include but not be limited to loading and unloading building materials with a forklift and by hand, planning travel routes, picking orders, and keeping an accurate driver's log book. A clean driver's abstract is a must. . This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and takes pride in ensuring smooth operations that support both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily yard operations, including loading/unloading, inventory management, and customer service. Supervise and support yard staff, fostering teamwork, accountability, and safety. Coordinate deliveries and pickups with vendors and customers to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Conduct daily safety checks on delivery trucks and yard equipment to ensure compliance and reliability. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment. Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Troubleshoot operational challenges with practical, solution-oriented leadership.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in building supply, construction, or retail. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.

Pay: $41,600.00-$54,000.00 per year
