Job Description

Core Rental Services is seeking Yard Staff/Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in our Swift Current location. This role is primarily responsible for the cleaning and preparation of equipment for rental, assisting customers with loading and unloading, while also assisting with routine maintenance variety of construction equipment, tools, and related accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and inspect equipment prior to and after rentals. Wash and maintain condition of equipment (paint touch-ups, minor repairs, etc.) Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment. Perform regular site maintenance (i.e. mowing the grass, leveling the gravel, clearing snow, cleaning the shop) Check service intervals and annual inspection dates on equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license Experience operating heavy machinery Forklift/telehandler, skidsteer, or manlift operator tickets is an asset, but not required. Experience in equipment rentals, construction, oil & gas, or heavy equipment industries an asset, but not required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Including proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) A track-record of working safely, and helping others work safely, too You like to work in a team, helping out wherever needed; but you can also self-start and work on your own You're organized, and can handle multiple tasks at once. A high level of attention to detail.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
