About the Role:





We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Yard Shunter to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This position is essential to maintaining efficient yard operations during the night shift. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.



What You'll Do:





Safely maneuver trailers within the yard according to dispatch instructions. Perform nightly yard checks and ensure proper trailer placement. Communicate effectively with dispatch and dock teams. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment. Maintain accurate logs and follow company safety protocols.

What You'll Need:





Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with a clean abstract. Previous yard shunting or related experience preferred. Ability to work night shifts consistently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
