Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard while ensuring that all materials and equipment are properly handled. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized yard by removing debris and waste materials. Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles. Operate various yard equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand tools safely and efficiently. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while working in the yard. Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Support inventory management by keeping track of materials and supplies.

Skills

Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day. Ability to operate yard equipment safely, with prior experience preferred but not required. Excellent attention to detail to ensure a clean and organized work environment. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration. Basic problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise in the yard. A commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols at all times. Pay: $16.38-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
