Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of

Yard Attendant

to join our Home Centre team on a full-time basis at our location in

Wainwright, AB

. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor.

What you'll do:

Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.

Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and displaying products.

Work with customers and contractors to answer inquiries about lumber and yard products.

Receiving of product in the yard and in store and complete required paperwork.

Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping.

Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.

Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.

Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You have Grade 10 education or equivalent retail and/or customer service experience.

Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to achieve shared objectives.
