Reports To: Y Treasure Thrift Store Supervisor

Pay Grid: $17.00/hr

Department: Y Treasure

Hours: 0-30hrs

What qualifications are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education/Certifications/Credentials/Professional Registration

Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C Evidence of a clear Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search if applicable), within the last six months

Knowledge & Skills

Exceptional customer service skills Previous experience working in a retail environment is an asset Ability to operate a cash register and POS system Ability to work quickly to meet targets by established deadlines

What does this role look like at the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta?

Reporting to the Y Treasure Thrift Store Supervisor, the Y Treasure Sorter/Clerk is responsible for working in the back-end of the store to receive, move, sort, process, and price donated items, as well as working in the public-facing portion of the store, being able to run the POS system and putting merchandise on the sales floor
