Position Overview:
In the XRF Business Development position, you'll be a trusted advisor, a strategic
partner, and the face of MFE Inspection Solutions Canada throughout your region. MFE
Inspection Solutions offers cutting-edge NDT technology through Rentals, Sales,
Repairs & Calibration Services, and Training of the latest in RVI, ENV, robotics, and
drone equipment and accessory technology.
Applicants with an industrial Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) knowledge base and
networking portfolio will receive priority consideration. The XRF Business Development
Representative will successfully expand their industry portfolio through increasing brand
awareness across various industries while driving the NDT equipment rentals, sales,
and services for MFE Inspection Solutions Canada. The selected candidate for this
position will identify and maintain front-facing business growth through this hybrid
opportunity to promote NDT equipment and MFE Inspection Solutions Brand loyalty.
Please note: For our face-to-face XRF Business Development and sales roles, you'll need your home residence to
be within geographical proximity to the customers in your area, and the ability to work a
hybrid schedule
Responsibilities and Duties, not limited to:
Develop and execute personalized outreach to drive meaningful connections
within the NDT industry. Qualify customers and prospect targeted leads to maintain pipelines of NDT
resources Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including the number of outreaches
activities, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities. Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective to secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery
Maintain a detailed call report of prospects and existing customers for review on a daily or weekly basis with the Vice President of Canada.
Answer phones, assist customers by completing order entry, order processing, and additional administrative work.
Handling and resolving customer inquiries regarding a product or service
Demonstrate product knowledge and technical capabilities
Utilize your portfolio of contacts to identify prospective customers and lead generation
Outreach to new and existing customers, scheduling meetings to discuss needs
Emphasize features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
Negotiate prices and terms and prepare rentals and sales agreements for NDT equipment
Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
Responsible for Rentals and Sales performance and addressing issues when necessary
Working Conditions:
Available position of this job requisition is an existing vacancy
Standard hours/week: 40 hours per week, 5 days; Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
Shift: Starts at 8:00 AM and includes 1 hour of unpaid lunch time and is exempt from overtime
Recurring Wages will be payable via Direct Deposit
Physically fit to lift equipment of up to 23kg with ease.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or Provincial Equivalency and experience with non-destructive testing equipment (NDT) and a technical background
This position requires proficiency in English.
Ability to work with others as a team, effective communication skills, and interactions with stakeholders
Analytical ability and good problem-solving skills
Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
High-level organizational skills for maintaining a successful regional sales territory
Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts

Regional travel is a requirement of the position
