Job Description



Intel desires entry into market segments served by high performance discrete graphics. Participation in market segments served by discrete graphics requires the delivery of reference platforms to downstream customers with sufficient confidence in the design to ramp this design or very close derivative into high volume production quickly. Intel is building this capability and now seeks to create a discrete graphics Platform System Engineering team. Are you interested? Then Accelerated Graphics Platform Engineering (XPE) has an opportunity for you. In XPE, we are responsible for delivering leading XPU solutions to integrated and discrete graphics in data center and will continue to deliver a pipeline of innovation supporting the complete Intel platform, including CPU, memory, and accelerators! We are looking for Platform Hardware, Thermal, Mechanical, AMC/FW System Management, SI/EMI Engineers, with great communication skills and the ability to interface, and clearly communicate, with many different technical disciplines to join our team. Required Background: These are key positions within the Intel XPE development organization. The successful candidates shall have demonstrated a successful track record of delivering high quality designs on time, working and influencing industry leaders and engaging with key OEMs, ODMs, CSPs and partners. The market segments served by discrete graphics are fast moving the successful candidate shall demonstrate a high level of comfort with change and change management.
Qualifications

Minimum skills and experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields with 7+ years of professional experience in a semiconductor industry, in a research and development environment, or a Master’s in the same fields with 5+ years of experience: Your experience should be in the following:
  • Thermal, Mechanical or Signal Integrity Simulation software such as Ansys, Icepak , Flotherm, ADS … or equivalent
  • Debug/analysis skills or testing
  • Programing language: Mathlab, Python
Prefer skills and experience:
  • Experience in modern platform level simulation and modelling, functional correctness and thermal, power and signal integrity flows with understanding of HW/FW/SW.
  • High-speed interface design, High performing cost optimized designs.
  • Experience working with regulatory and compliance validation for consumer and server electronics
  • Provision of second level hardware technical support to ODM/OEM board vendors or end customer
  • Design for High current dynamic power delivery and active cooling solutions
  • Experience in the design of PCIe add in cards for server products and exposure to data center customers and usage models

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
