About HIPM:

HIPM is a multicultural Pentecostal church located in Halifax since 2012. We are a vibrant immigrant community of believers, primarily from India, who gather every Sunday to worship the Lord. Among our various ministries, worship is one of the most significant. We believe in the anointing of the Holy Spirit and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a born-again, Spirit-filled, enthusiastic female worship leader and musician to lead our Sunday worship services. This part-time role offers an opportunity for someone with a deep passion for worship and a heart to serve the congregation through music. The ideal candidate will be skilled in playing the keyboard and/or other instruments and will play a key role in leading our community into a meaningful worship experience. Our worship style is contemporary, and we primarily sing modern praise and worship songs.

Responsibilities:

Lead worship during Sunday morning services. Play the keyboard or other instruments to lead the congregation in worship. Collaborate with the pastor and worship team to select songs. Cultivate an atmosphere of spiritual connection and encounter with God. Lead weekly preparations and ensure readiness for Sunday services.

Who can apply?

Most suitable for Bible college students who are part of a worship team. Those who currently lead worship but are not part of the worship team in their church. Individuals with a calling and passion for worship ministry who desire to grow in their gifting. Musicians or singers with experience in contemporary worship who want to serve in a church setting.

Qualifications:

Strong faith as a Christian Musical talent Comfortable being on stage in front of a crowd Must be 18 or older Strong leadership skills Organization skills Strong work ethic Positive character
