Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilitator to lead engaging, inclusive, and dynamic activities for diverse groups of children and youth. In this role, you will create a positive environment that encourages growth, learning, and fun through well-organized programs. As a contractor, you will lead the delivery and facilitation of LOVE BC workshops on an on-call basis. The standard fee offered is $75 for a 90-minute workshop. Workshops can take place in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. Access to a car is preferred.
Responsibilities
Facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Facilitate a variety of workshops including topics such as Healthy Relationships, Boundaries, Anti-racism, etc. Support children with behavioral challenges by adapting activities when appropriate.
Requirements
Prior experience of at least 3 years facilitating workshops. Strong group management skills with the ability to maintain order while fostering a fun learning environment. Experience working with youth and in inclusive settings is a plus.
Job Types: Casual, Freelance
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
