As the Working Foreperson/Leadhand, you will be responsible for the service, repair, installation and operation of electrical equipment, controls and components within the Buildings section of Calgary Transit (CT). Primary duties include:Perform monthly, semi-annual, annual inspections per assigned work orders.
Schedule the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical power distribution and control systems, fixtures, apparatus and appliances.
Test, calibrate, replace and upgrade electrical devices and components.
Troubleshoot and resolve various automation, control and electrical system problems.
Complete required paperwork associated with the completion of work orders, Mastercard statements, confined/restricted space entry, Field Level Hazzard Assessments, and Daily Work Plans.
Perform walk through assessments of new construction, renovations and life cycle installations.
