Job Description


The Workflow Senior Technical Manager is responsible for working closely with the Chief Administrative Office in establishing and executing the roadmap for workflow applications in Markets with a focus on the digitization of bank-critical workflows that enable business operations. This role in Markets Business Risk & Controls Technology will also provide vision, strategy and leadership for our Canada site,

Responsibilities:

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and define roadmap for the workflow transformation program.

Foster communication between business leaders and IT

Consult with stakeholders to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions.

Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information.

Work with product owner and tech stakeholders to create program backlog and prioritize and create roadmap for the workflow.

Create high level statement of work and share with stakeholders to enable sizing, forecast and planning. Stakeholders include Business, Development, Testing / UAT and deployment partners.

Come up with creative solutioning especially when needed to mitigate scope and capacity risks.

Providing vision, strategic leadership and operational direction to workflow implementation.

Building an Agile/Adaptive culture/team, managing workflow transformation projects with evolving requirements but fixed timescales.

Collaborate with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.

Providing a disruptive, forward-looking mindset, challenging the status quo, articulating, communicating and inspiring various levels of management to achieve an aggressive technological transformational agenda.

Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned.

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Incumbent will provide vision, leadership and direction for Strategy initiatives; and drive organizational effectiveness, global optimizations, and superior products / services within an environment of continuous learning & growth for Mississauga site for Markets Business Risk & Controls

Establish and maintain a high performing, open culture based on integrity and strong partnership and financial responsibility.

Maintain strong relationships with senior business partners, control organizations, other technology functions, and external regulators and vendors.

Manage release management, beta testing, gradual customer rollout and track feature adoption in the markets.

Strong communication skills, ability to chair senior dialogue in high-pressured environment, attention to detail, ability to identify risks and manage escalation appropriately within the organization.

Good negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of progressive senior technology leadership experience leading transformational technology efforts with enterprise architecture experience in the financial sector or mid-size Fintech companies.

Knowledge of PEGA workflow transformation implementation is required on Pega Infinity.

Prior digital transformation leadership experience is preferred.

Pega Express Methodology

Containerized deployment of Pega Infinity using Kubernetes

PEGA LSA is a required

Technical background in coding languages like Java, Python etc is required..

Experience with of Kubernetics, ECS, Containerization, Kafka, databases like Oracle, SQL

Hands on experience with CI/CD, bitbucket, JIRA etc.

Education:

Bachelor\'s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master\'s degree preferred.
