Our client, is a Leading Energy Services company with multiple business lines operating across Western Canada.

Currently we are recruiting for a Saskatchewan based;

Workface Planner

reporting to the Turnaround Manager. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of Planning expertise along with a Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker Certification. The role offers LOA (Living Out Allowance) and Travel Pay. Eligibility based on location of residence from work site.

Please note this is a temporary position for 1+ years, the shift is 4 on 3 off rotation at 8 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that safety, quality, project controls monitoring and efficiency at the workforce are considered in the planning process.
• Responsible for ensuring that all necessary resources are available, and constraints are removed prior to releasing the IWP to the field.
• You will prepare project IWP by figuring out needed activities, resources, quality control, risk planning, interdependencies, interfaces, specific requirements, and field condition.
• Take the lead with during the initiation phase of construction, and demand maintenance projects to clarify all details relating to planning and scope of work.
• Experience preferred with Estimating and Estimating Software and dealing with vendors and service companies.

• 5+ years of experience in workforce planning
• Red Seal Journeyman Boiler Maker Certification OR hold a post-secondary degree in a related technical field or combination of training and experience considered to be appropriate for the role
• CSTS and WHMIS is required.
• Have strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Have a solid understanding of site safety policies and procedures to ensure they are considered
• Expertise with job plans and be able to read blueprints, P&ID\xe2\x80\x99s, and ISO\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Sound knowledge of all trade requirements in a multi-skilled environment/specific knowledge of trade(s) being supported.
• Is highly proficient with MS Projects, Primavera 6 and 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with SAP.
