Overview

We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team, responsible for crafting quality wooden products and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for working with wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to create custom wood products. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components. Perform cabinet installations, flooring installations, tile laying, and other woodworking tasks as required. Engage in restoration projects to repair or refurbish existing wooden structures or furniture. Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving masonry, drywall, painting and plumbing. Assist in construction estimating to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Handle heavy lifting of materials as needed during the construction process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in woodworking techniques and carpentry practices. Experience with CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of wood. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus. Strong maintenance person experience with a variety of construction skills including assembly and installation is a plus. Competence in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
