Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled with a strong background in millwork and wood product handling. This role involves both manufacturing high-end wood mouldings. Candidates with experience in mouldings manufacturing, warehouse environments, and safe material handling will be given priority. This position requires to work from

Monday to Friday 7:30AM-430PM

Key Responsibilities:

Handle materials: sort, identify, and select various wood species (e.g., red oak, hard white maple, poplar, cherry) for each job. Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools with precision Production support, assist machinists and finishers in preparing and staging materials, loading machines, and handling custom moulding orders. Fabricate, cut and assemble mouldings and trim to custom specifications Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools with precision Inspect finished wood products to ensure quality standards are met Collaborate with production team to customize or recommend stock profiles based on customer specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

Minimum 1 years of experience in millwork or related carpentry field Proven knowledge of wood types, mouldings, and finishing techniques Proficient in operating woodworking and cutting equipment Experience working in a mouldings manufacturing facility is a strong asset Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and handling wood materials Valid WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain) Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts or material lifts is an asset Ability to lift heavy materials, follow safety practices, and meet tight deadlines Detail-oriented and able to work independently or with a team

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
