Wood Worker

to join our team!

Dayshift:

6:00am - 2:30pm

Base Rate:

$27.50/ hour

Overtime and Shift Work may be required.

We are looking for reliable, mechanically minded candidates.

Experience preferred but not required.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate production line machinery and computers Perform pre-shift tool and equipment inspections Troubleshoot production line machinery Perform equipment change-overs Responsible for quality control. Make necessary adjustments to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications (check with supervisors) Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs) Operate forklift, overhead cranes, or mobile yard cranes (if qualified) Utilize the company ERP system for production tracking Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMS) on production line machinery or tools Communicate with operators from other shifts Clean and maintain work area daily (woodshop and shipping area) Turn off equipment when not in use Lock out equipment in the event of equipment failure Work shifts work as required Must meet other qualifications and checklists as required
