We are seeking a skilled Wood Carver to join our client in Vaughn. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and the ability to create intricate designs and structures from wood. This role requires proficiency with various power tools and an understanding of construction techniques. The Wood Carver will work closely with other craftsmen and contribute to the overall quality of our projects.
Responsibilities
Utilize power tools and hand tools to carve, shape, and finish wood products according to specifications.
Interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
Perform drywall installation, electrical work, tile laying, and flooring installation as needed.
Execute caulking and construction painting tasks to enhance finished products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as required during project execution.
Requirements
Proven experience in woodworking or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in woodworking.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with drywall installation, electrical work, tile laying, caulking, construction painting, and flooring installation is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Experience:
wood carving: 3 years (preferred)
table saw: 2 years (preferred)
