Women\'s Health Account Specialist - Vancouver & Interior B.C.

The Women\'s Health Account Specialist (WHAS) is responsible for achieving sales targets based on a sound business plan and excellent execution. In addition, the WHAS will develop and implement customer-focused initiatives using a strategic account planning approach to build Bayer\'s leadership in Women\'s Health. This will be achieved through a strong entrepreneurial focus in alignment with the marketing direction.

What you will do:

  • Expand the OBGYN, GP, NP & Pharmacist audience, increase engagement in counselling, prescribing and inserting intrauterine contraception
  • Analyze business environment to develop, execute territory and account specific business plans
  • Identify and develop business relationships with key stakeholders in the territory (OBGYNS, GPs, NPs, Nurses and other HCPs)
  • Map stakeholders within communities to identify decision makers and influencers
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders
  • Build strategic and territory specific account plans, incorporating input from sales trends and stakeholder needs
  • Create value with customers, partner with stakeholders to implement solutions that improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct learning events specific to the referral audience, to reduce insertion wait times and grow awareness of unintended pregnancies
  • Strategically invest and track corresponding results
  • Collaborate &connect within Bayer, support cross-functional collaboration
  • Adhere to all requirements and Code of Conduct as directed by IMC and Bayer policy guidelines
  • Build trust and be inclusive
Who you are:
  • Bachelor degree
  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience - Women\'s Health knowledge an asset
  • Proven track record of key account management and project management
  • Superior competencies in relationship building & networking; ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to assess market, draw insights and take decisions accordingly, leveraging an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Positive attitude; active team player in a cross-functional team, with excellent collaboration and communication skills, demonstrating a strong learning agility
  • Continually seeks feedback from peers to improve business outcomes
  • High level of business integrity and ethics
  • Overnight travel required throughout territory
