Our New Wiring Technician:

Perform point-to-point electrical wiring and assembly of elevator fixture panels by following related electrical CAD schematics.

What you bring to the role:

College Diploma in Electrical or equivalent professional experience Mechanical / electromechanical assembly experience an asset. At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing preferred Able to understand the role of each Electrical and Electronics components in the overall schema of Control Panel

What you will do in the role:

Ensure that the elevator fixture panel function smoothly as per the design of the panel layout. Interpret CAD schematic diagram and understand the circuit's functionality and troubleshooting the issues. Conduct wiring of connections, terminate as needed for variety of connectors, control systems, electronic circuit boards, Actuators, Sensors and other electrical devices. Inspect fixture panel according to the schematics and instruction, checking the quality of the process. Perform complicated and varied tasks and prioritize work orders to meet production schedule. Check floor stock by monitoring wiring inventory. Inspect assemblies visually with applicable measuring devices and identify non-conformances as applicable. Follow quality control processes and complete inspection documentation as required. Maintain a clean work area at all times. Complete shop records accurately and on time. Able to manage medium to heavy materials, tact and judgement. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

This position is located at 6635 Ordan Drive in Mississauga, ON.

Hours are typically Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

This is a Full-time, Hourly position.
