Responsibilities
:
Follow all safety practices and procedures for pole climbing and road safety.
Provide excellent customer service by contacting customers prior to drop placement.
Use ladders and spurs to access aerial locations.
Install applicable hardware and place drops from NAP/MPT to the customer's home for both aerial and underground work.
Utilize standard telecommunications tools.
Track and communicate daily production and material usage.
Review, interpret, and work with various maps, drawings, blueprints, and testing documents.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in installing and maintaining wireline systems.
Willingness/availability to work overtime and/or weekends and travel out of town
Use of mobile device applications, Microsoft Office, and technical software applications.
Proven understanding of and experience with telecommunications equipment, cables, and hardware.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to related construction processes.
