Role Overview



We are currently seeking a Civil Foreman to lead our crew in the construction of new telecommunications sites, primarily greenfield builds. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising field crews and subcontractors in foundation construction, rebar installation, steel stacking, and compound works including trenching and grounding.

You will be an integral part of project delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities



Supervise and lead crews in civil construction activities including: Concrete foundations (pier, pad & raft) Rebar layout and installation Anchor bolt cage and template setting Tower section stacking and erection Trenching, grounding, conduit, and duct bank installation Interpret and work from engineered drawings and layout plans Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to meet schedule milestones Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and progress updates Conduct toolbox talks and ensures crew adherence to safe work practices Monitor equipment and material usage; manage deliveries and site logistics Mentor junior crew members and promote a culture of professionalism and accountability

Qualifications



Minimum

5 years of civil construction experience

in telecom or heavy industrial work

2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role

Proven experience in: Pouring and forming concrete Rebar and anchor bolt placement Tower stacking and rigging coordination (with hoisting crews) Strong knowledge of construction safety standards (OHS, WorkSafeBC, etc.) Valid

Driver's License

(Class 5 or better) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Experience with equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, and mini-excavators - asset Willingness to travel across BC and Western Canada, including remote sites Comfortable working extended hours, overtime, and weekends as required

Assets



First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, and Fall Protection certification Experience with telecom tower infrastructure (e.g., Trylon, Sabre, Rohn) Experience managing sub-trades and coordinating concrete pours Understanding of telecom grounding requirements and CSA standards

Work Environment



Outdoor/remote job sites (greenfield/rural locations) Physical, hands-on leadership role Collaborative team culture with support from experienced project managers and engineers

Compensation



Pay:

$38.00-$45.00/hour depending on experience

Overtime:

Paid after 8 hours/day
