MOBIA is currently looking for a Wireless Network Radio Technician to join our team in Smith Falls, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in maintaining availability for Voice & Data Network
• Diagnose and analyze outages with the use of remote monitoring tools
• Manage trouble tickets from end to end
• Dispatch field operations technician to restore service
• Communicate constantly with users, technicians, third party providers and internally
• Make recommendations for recurring problems for continuous improvement
• Manage Configuration Items and programming files for user equipment
• Execute Network reporting on a timely manner
• Play a key role for up keeping and updating technical documentation

Skills / Qualifications & Requirements:

• College degree in electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer electronics or equivalent
• Competencies in Data Network and IP Technology
• Trunking Network telecommunication systems principals knowledge
• Knowledge transfer competencies
• Experience in configuring IP Network equipment
• Experience in maintenance of radio communication equipment
• Bilingual (French, English). Work mostly executed in French
• Excellent regular attendance, On-call availability for unplanned events
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and security clearances
• Ability to travel within Ontario
• Valid driver\'s license and clean drivers abstract
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Troubleshooting and working under pressure
