Wire Rope Coiler/splicer & Shipping And Receiving
Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Run wire rope and cut to lengths for orders
- Manufacture products to order specifics
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Unload and load trucks using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing items received to packing lists or invoices
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain warehouse distribution areas
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order picking
Skills:
- Ability to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks for efficient order picking
- Attention to detail for verifying shipment accuracy and maintaining inventory records
Training will be provided at the job for all duties in the shop
