., is seeking an experienced Metal Mesh/Spot Welder Set-up Operator to join our team in Concord, Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing of high-quality store fixtures that enhance retail environments. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is Setup/Operate IDEAL MESH WELDING Machines. Setup/operate Press/Spot Welding Machines. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication. Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of production. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes. Maintain welding equipment and tools for optimal performance. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in training new employees on welding techniques and safety practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

5 year Experience working in a wire shop producing retail displays Previous Mesh/spot/press welding production or manufacturing experience an asset Strong attention to detail ability to stand and perform repetitive movements for the entirety of a shift ability to lift up to 50 lbs. understand basic written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks must be able to work and operate general shop equipment used to cut, form and weld parts Forklift license a definite asset Familiarity with quality control processes and standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Commitment to safety practices in the workplace.

Schedule:

Day shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
