About the Role

We are looking for a skilled

Wire EDM

Operator with extensive

Manual Mill experience

to join our growing precision machine shop. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, problem solving, and producing high-quality parts in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

You will work closely with engineering and CNC teams to support tooling, fixtures, prototypes, and production parts across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce precision components Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications Perform basic programming edits and offsets at the machine Set up and operate manual milling machines for tooling, fixtures, and secondary ops Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools Maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality standards Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest process improvements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and engineers as needed

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience operating Wire EDM machines 3+ years experience with manual milling machines Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and tolerances Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings Comfortable working in a high-mix, low-volume job shop Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Nice to Have

Experience with tooling, die work, or complex fixtures Basic CNC machining knowledge Experience in automotive, industrial, or automation components Ability to suggest fixturing or process improvements

Russian-speaking ability is considered an asset
