, where your enthusiasm for education and the winter season will spark inspiration in young learners! You'll design and lead engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage exploration, creativity, and teamwork--all while ensuring a safe, supportive, and joyful environment for every camper.
What You'll Do
Design and implement
interactive lesson plans
that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration.
Facilitate
indoor and outdoor activities
that build teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Foster a
positive classroom atmosphere
where students feel valued, confident, and motivated to participate.
Assess student progress and provide
constructive feedback
to support their individual growth.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leads to ensure program consistency across all learning centers.
Communicate effectively with
parents
about student progress, class updates, and camp highlights.
Maintain
safety and well-being
standards for all campers during classes and transitions.
Basic Qualifications
University/College experience or degree in
Education
or a
related field
is required
Preferred Qualifications
OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher)
or
RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator)
certification is preferred.
Previous
teaching or camp experience
is highly desirable.
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
to connect with students and families.
Ability to
adapt lessons
to diverse learning needs and styles.
Enthusiasm for
