Winter LOADER Operators Wanted

Vaughan Paving Ltd. is well established company that has been around for over 35 years. We are currently looking for front end loader operators. All positions are standby based and require 24/7 availability. Compensation reflected in 2 parts, a guaranteed daily fix standby amount as well and an hourly rate when we get called out.

Front end loader operators

key responsibilities include plowing city streets during snow events. Operators need to be able to meet the 90min call out time, read and understand a route map and be comfortable navigating city streets in a loader with a front plow attachment. Training will be provided. Main duty is pushing snow to curb after plow truck makes first past and simultaneously cleaning windrow left at bottom of driveway with special attachment, as well as clearing cul-de-sacs and wide elbows. Must work well with others as will be working in tandem with plow truck driver during snow events.

12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE ON A LOADER IS REQUIRED

All positions are standby based and require 24/7 availability. Compensation reflected in 2 parts, a guaranteed daily fix standby amount as well and an hourly rate when we get called out. Workers will have 90minutes (minimum) from time of call to be on the job and working. DEPENDABILITY is a requirement as workers will need to be available for days, nights and weekends.
