Job Description

Sierra Springs Liquor, located in Airdrie, Alberta, is seeking a knowledgeable and capable Retail Product Consultant for a full-time and part-time role. Applicants must have a passion for wine, spirits or beer (or all three!). Applicants must also have an in-depth knowledge of our products and ability to share that knowledge with our customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

Must display exceptional customer service skills. Must have effective organization skills. Must have time management skills. Must have excellent communication skills which includes public speaking. Must be able to conduct in store tastings and educate customers about the product and explain the specifics of each bottle. Must have strong computer literacy skills. Must pay attention to detail. Must have to physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs. Must have a passion for helping and educating others while building relationships with out guests.
Nice to have:

Completed or is in process of completing WSET Level 2 or Cicerone Certification. Must have the ability to Host Wine Events and Tastings.

Hourly Wage: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour based on experience.
