We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, responsible for maintaining and securing our Windows-based infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in applying vulnerability fixes, patches, and updates to ensure our systems' integrity and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Windows patch management
- Proficiency in Windows Powershell and Windows Servers
- Experience with WSUS, SCCM, or other patch management tools
- Experience in automating patching processes using scripting tools
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards
- Perform Windows OS patching and apply security updates across servers and endpoints
- Monitor vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation based on severity
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards
- Troubleshoot patch deployment issues and provide root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation for patch cycles, exceptions, and compliance reports
- Ensure minimal downtime during patching through proper scheduling and communication
- Participate in incident response for security-related issues
