The Role The Western Canada Lottery Corporation is looking for an experienced Windows Analyst to join our Infrastructure and Operations Team, based out of Winnipeg. The Windows Analyst will play a key role in managing and optimizing the tools and infrastructure that supports Windows devices across our organization. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who is a skilled Windows Administrator with a deep understanding of Microsoft Intune for device management and security. To be a great fit, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have a teamwork-focused mindset and strong communication skills, since you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working closely with our Service Desk team when trouble arises and collaborating regularly with our Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to design and implement device management solutions. You would also need to stay on top of industry trends and best practices for patching and desktop configuration, since you\xe2\x80\x99ll be asked to pitch in to evaluate and implement new technologies and tools for our teams. Qualifications To excel in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in Windows desktop administration, with a focus on Intune.
  • Expertise deploying, configuring, upgrading, and removing Windows applications to end-user devices using Intune.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving Intune-related issues and provide timely support updates.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with PDQ deploy is a plus
  • Experience with VDI is a plus
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
