Job Description

Orillia Glass and Mirror Ltd. is looking for an assistant installer join our team.

We are hiring a full time window and glass installer/glazier. Experience installing windows, doors, showers, mirrors, commercial storefronts, or other glass products is preferred. Experience in construction related fields would be beneficial.

Requirements



- Experience in the installation of windows, doors, shower glass, thermopanes, or other related products is preferred but not required

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs (daily repetitive lifting)

- Good customer service skills

- Safety shoes/boots

- CLEAN Ontario G class drivers license

- Ability to take accurate measurements using an imperial measuring tape

- Experience safely using hand and power tools

Details



- Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

- Work in the shop and on job sites, including commercial and residential jobs

- Work with experienced installers to learn new skills and techniques

- Interacting directly with customers

- Wages will be determined by experience - we are looking for both experience installers and those who want to learn and build their skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
