Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting doors and windows, with the ability to restore and enhance various surfaces. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Restore surfaces by performing drywall repairs and other necessary restoration tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their needs and preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial painting and restoration work is preferred. Strong knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently. Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe handling of materials is a plus. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
