Fieldstone Windows and Doors Ltd. is looking for a fulltime individual to travel to customer's houses and take final measurements that would be used for ordering the manufacture of Windows and Doors.
Responsibilities
The individual would submit the final order ensuring it is accurate to the signed contract documents and change-orders. In addition, the candidate would also create a work order for the installation team, communicating installation direction and expectations. the role may involve some site visits and inspection of installations when required. The candidate will be report to the business owner. The candidate must be open to a background check.
Candidate success will be measured on the following
-Measuring results are accepted as accurate by business owner
-Order accuracy is without faults
-Work Order presentations are clear and legible to Fieldstone standards
-Turnaround time of order processing is within 3 days of measurement
-Turnaround time of Work Orders is within 5 days of measurement
-Installation teams accept and acknowledge candidate as the go-to individual for information and problem solving installation challenges.

-Construction knowledge of installation practices for windows, doors and mouldings

-Computer literate. Capable of using MS Word, Excel, PDF editing software and would learn proprietary window and door order software.

Skills, Experience and Education
-5 to 10 years experience in the Construction industry
-Window and Door installation experience is an asset
-College training is an asset
-Individual must be comfortable using computers and digital photography to create Work Orders for installers
-Comfortable performing mathematical calculations
-Experience with Historic Architecture an asset
-Valid Ontario Driver's License
-Comfortable climbing ladders
-Vehicle to carry ladder an asset
Compensation
-$75,000. annual salary, negotiable
-Vacation: Policy is 2 weeks, but negotiable
-Mileage is based on CRA allowable rates
